Pastor Garrett was born in Spain and grew up all over the country and the world because his father was serving in the Marine Corps. From the age of twelve or thirteen he felt called to become a pastor and serve the Lord. After many moves and numerous schools, he went to Texas A&M. Garrett graduated in 2010 with a dergee in History and a minor in English. During his last year there, he met his future wife Szende.
Three weeks after graduating, Garrett had moved to St. Louis, Mo and was taking Greek at a seminary. In 2011 Szende and Garrett got married, and in 2013 to 2014 they vicared in New Braunfels, TX.
After graduating from seminary, Garrett and Szende served for 10 years in a corperate Lutheran church body. But the true joy in their lives, outside of the Word of God, was the birth of their two children, Emese and Gabriel.
We are continuing to listen to the Voice of the Lord and following His plan for us by opening Living Word. We are excited to see what He has in store for us.
